About Us

The Cambuslang and Rutherglen Reachout Trust (CRRT) has been operating in partnership with local churches and in association with Scripture Union Scotland since 1994. We aim to encourage the children and young people of Rutherglen and Cambuslang to explore the bible and consider the significance of Jesus.

CRRT seeks to engage and support young people to increase their understanding of the Christian faith, and putting their faith into action. We operate with two youth and schools workers and one administrative assistant in Cambuslang and Rutherglen where we have four mainstreams of work: schools, churches, communities as well as through training and volunteers.

Vision Statement

To enable children and young people to achieve their full potential by:

  • meeting them where they are;

  • providing opportunities to experience the Christian faith;

  • enabling them, where appropriate, to put their faith into action.
